Architectural Fabric Solutions have recently completed the design of our latest shade structure innovation. Originally designed to cover Jumping Pillows, the revolutionary Airshade can be used for many applications for the Military, Sporting Associations, Schooling and Communitiy groups.  Simply turn on the blowers to inflate to create a well shaded environment for young and old to enjoy whatever the occasion or circumstance without the burn of the sun.

Airshade structures are supported by 1200mm dia inflatable columns to create a frame that carries two shade sail segments. Installation is a breeze, the commercial grade PVC has a UV warranty of 5 years and a shade cloth warranty of 10 years. The structure will last much longer if properly cared for. The materials have been tested in the harsh Australian environment and will provide years of trouble free enjoyment.

The Airshade structure can either be 'buried' into the ground for a more permanent application or it can be fitted with weights, allowing it to be easily stored away and used in a variety of locations. It can be designed and shaped to meet a variety of shapes, sizes and colours to suit any client requirements.
 
The new AirShade offers a long list of features and benefits, however at the top of the list is the fact that there are no steel poles or wire whatsoever making it 100% playground safe. The AirShade skeleton is fully inflatable and made from a combination of two very tough UV resistant PVC’s (TARPOL Ripstop and Ferrari 402) and features the latest in ultra strength and long lasting shade mesh.
 
Airshade structures are able to operate successfully in high wind locations with significant anchoring weight in each vertical pontoon and tie down tethers for support if required (you can also just deflate it to ground level), it is a breeze to install, easy to repair, easy to re-locate, has no steel posts or associated foundations, comes with a long warranty and is 30-45% less cost compared to traditional shade structures.

When comparing Airshade structures to traditional shade structures one needs to take the size and position of the posts into consideration e.g. To cover a traditional structures, you cannot have the posts as close as they would present a danger. So it's not only the cost of steel and foundations to take into consideration, but the larger surface area and professional installation costs as well.
